Well, that was an amazing day of skiing yesterday. The weather, while cold, was pretty spectacular. All our skiers did amazing in their races.

I want to give some shout outs to individual kids. 

Boys HS

Ned gets a shout out for his approach to the day regarding mindset, race prep, and work ethic

Joey gets a shout out for his enthusiasm for the course

Zach gets a shout out for his focus and energy

Adam gets a shout out for technique work on striding

Quinn gets a shout out for keeping Tekken company on his warm up

Grayson gets a shout out for killing the race.

Girls HS

Ainsley gets a shout out for being such a steadying influence on us all and helping clean up the trailer

Haley gets a shout out for killing the race and for her smile at the end of it

Kat gets a shout out for knowing limitations and making smart decisions

Boys MS

Tekken gets a shout out for wax feedback, it's important to let us know what you need

Hazen gets a shout out for killing the race and for positive energy in his first big race

Ira gets a shout out for his hard work on classic technique and keeping things loose

Kai gets a shout out for taking the coaching instructions to heart and really improving his technique

Aldyn gets a shout out for skiing fast, smiling, and serving up food to volunteers

Girls MS

Alyson gets a shout out for cheering skiers and sending it on the downhills

Emerson gets a shout out for her positivity, enthusiasm, and super skiing

CeeCee gets a shout out for focusing on her skiing, helping her teammates, and crushing her race

Brynn gets a shout out for her energy, cheering, and working hard on her technique

Iris gets a shout out for her great attitude, her support of others, and her technique

Charlotte gets a shout out for having fun, skiing fast, and holding her smiling until she finished her race

Lauren gets a shout out for her response to finishing her race and for her verve all day long

Helen gets a shout out for her technique work and for skiing all day long

Hope gets a shout out for completing the race as she recovers from illness and for being such a great trooper.

Parents get a shout out for all the support, the food, the wax tech work, the transportation, the acceptance of this crazy sport, for being out in the cold all day long. 

Ethan and Ayla get shout outs for putting up with me, for putting kids before their own comfort and for sharing their knowledge and time with all of us.

We get to do it again this week.

Monday- practice @ Proctor 4-5:30 Freestyle prep, skiing on the big loop

Tuesday- practice @ Proctor 4-5:30 sprint race prep

Wednesday- race Keene sprints at Dublin MS departure 12:15 pm, HS departure 12:30 pm (I'll send out a link to the start lists when it's available)

Thursday- practice @ Proctor 4-5:30 easy recovery skl

Friday- waxing TBD

Saturday- race NHNCA Freestyle Coaches' Series at Gunstock Departure 7:15am from HS
